The 2010 season wasn't much different. Flashes of speed and competitiveness were offset by far too many disappointing afternoons behind the wheel. By the time a frustrated Kahne split with Richard Petty Motorsports to join Red Bull Racing, for whom he will drive in 2011 before moving to Hendrick Motorsports in 2012, he was winless on the season and 20th in the standings.
