Another one bites the dust. Cleveland's 5th round draft pick of this year, Nebraska's Larry Asante has been claimed by Tampa Bay off the Browns practice squad.
The former Big 12 All-Conference player had 42 solo stops, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions his senior year before being selected as the 160th pick in this year's draft.
It continues to beg the question, what is going on with talent evaluation if a guy can't even make it through his first year with the team that drafted him?
In other news, the Browns signed former Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Norwood to the active roster. RB Clifton Smith was released to make room for Norwood
