NFL will suspend players for head shots

The news came across the bottom line towards the tail end of last night's Monday Night Football game. The NFL will have a zero-tolerance policy for head shots going forward.

Little did I know on Sunday when I was seeing guys like Desean Jackson, Sam Bradford, and Joshua Cribbs take huge hits; we were seeing history.

It's going to be interesting to see who the first violator of the new rule is. And how this rule will most certainly evolve. I'm not happy about it. They're ruining football as we know it.

One thing I want to know: how has the game changed from the 90's? Was there less big hits to the head then?
