I'm so glad I woke up on this Sunday morning and made the beautiful drive up to Northeastern Ohio to see Colt McCoy's first start in Cleveland. It turned out to be a legendary performance that is having him grabbing all kinds of
national praise and
recognition.
I'd write a lot more about my day and experience in C-Town, but I have a pounding migraine headache right now and I can barely think.
This was the first time in my life I'd ever seen the great Tommy Brady play. He was off all day long. The future Hall of Famer got outplayed by the 24 year old rookie, much like the first time Tom Brady beat Peyton Manning when he was 24 years old himself.

I snapped a pic of the Cleveland Browns ring of honor before the game started. We weren't allowed down in the Dawg Pound or lower bowl; and this is something that has changed from days of the past. The environment at Cleveland Browns Stadium was in general pretty cold and challenging. From the ushers to a lot of fellow fans. I don't know if it's the region or if it's the team struggling for so many years. But there was not a warm vibe put off at the stadium in the slightest. It's difficult to describe and something I can't really put my finger on.
It was a special day at the stadium, and as Jim Donovan and Mike Snyder remarked on WTAM after the game, it was a game in which it felt like a Municipal Stadium Sunday with the smell of hot dogs and beer and it just felt like the old days for a while. Although I never saw the Browns play at the old stadium, I have to say I can relate.
